The Secret Every Successful Mogul Uses to Build Empires

BONUS CONTENT: 5 Simple Steps to Crush Your Goals

Have you ever wondered how the most successful moguls build their empires?

Frankly, it’s hard not to.

Just looking at the cover of Tim Ferris’ book, The 4-Hour Work Week. Don’t you immediately wonder exactly how he managed to write a book and run a successful company all while working only four hours a week? Most of us can’t even get half of what we want accomplished working 50+ hours a week!

Or how billionaire Larry Ellison, Oracle’s Executive Chairman, went from a college drop-out to one of the world’s wealthiest people. How did he build a career as a mogul? Where did he even begin?

These are normal questions to have when you’re just starting out or looking to make bold changes in your own life and career path.

After all, these superstars make building an empire look easy. In some cases, they make it look like magic!

But I assure you, even the most influential entrepreneurs do not possess otherworldly powers. They don’t just wave a magic wand and POOF, successful business ventures appear.

These high-level entrepreneurs all have one thing in common…

A recipe for success that, when followed to a tee, merits incredible results time after time.

You can take a sneak peek at that recipe for success here.

The best thing about a tried and true formula? It can be copied.

Magic powers cannot be duplicated, but a successful formula can. Especially when you know the exact ingredients…

That’s why I’m here. To share this secret recipe with you.

After all, my 30+ years as an international business lawyer, investment banker, and advisor to C-suite executives has given me inside access to some of the world’s most impressive moguls.

I’ve had a bird’s eye view from which I was able to watch and observe these elite professionals as they made solid decisions that had a tremendous impact on not just their business ventures, but on their own lives and the lives of the people around them.

Originally, I thought each one had some unique “it” factor that propelled them to success. But after watching many of them rise up from aspirational goals to thriving accomplishments, I realized that it wasn’t some “it” factor that was responsible for their success...

It was a proven formula that each of them employed to leverage their individual talents... and turn their aspirations into reality.

The knowledge I acquired from these masterminds is invaluable. So invaluable that I knew I had to share it with aspiring entrepreneurs, and those looking to transform their lives.

If you’re still on the fence, keep reading.

The Formula

This formula consists of five main ingredients that, when added together in the right time and proportion, generate a recipe for success.

At this point, you may be asking yourself, what does a “recipe for success” even look like?

It’s a well-conceived, actionable plan.

A road map that, if you have the drive to follow, no matter how many twists and turns it takes, will set you on the path to becoming your own version of a mogul.

The First Step Is Focus

An actionable plan starts with clearly defined goals. This is where the inner work comes in. You need to ask yourself what you really want. I’m not talking about the typical asks... a dream home, a superyacht, a bottomless bank account, to never have to work again, etc.

Those are all well and great, and I certainly hope you have all of them one day! But a successful plan starts with tangible, well-defined goals - both short term and long term.

How much money do you want to be earning six months from now? A year from now? Two years from now?

How do you want to earn that money? Through a new job? A promotion? A side hustle? Investments?

If you’re looking to start your own business, what kind of business do you want to start? Do you want a solo operation? Do you want employees? What kind of growth do you want to see?

While these questions may seem overwhelming, until you can clearly define what you want, you can’t get started.

Deadlines

Deadlines won’t just keep you motivated, they will keep you on track for success.

Deadlines force you to take the necessary action to turn your dreams into reality. They may seem stressful, but they are a necessary tool for any mogul.

Above I’ve given you a series of questions you need to ask yourself. The first deadline you need to set is when these questions need to be answered. Otherwise, you could spend weeks...months… or even years rolling over different possibilities in your mind of exactly what you want.

But in all that time thinking, you won’t have gotten anywhere.

Deadlines force you to focus and complete key tasks. And they hold you accountable. After all, you wouldn’t expect your boss to give you a work assignment and tell you to have it finished by “whenever you feel like it.” If that were the standard, that company would fail miserably.

And if you don’t hold yourself to a firm standard, unfortunately you will too. But not if you take advantage of this winning formula.

Once you’ve defined your goals, it’s time to put a timeline in action. You need to establish a series of steps you must take to achieve your goals, and a date by which these steps must be completed.

Again, you may be asking yourself, but how do I do that?

Even if you can accurately pinpoint what you want and a reasonable time frame for achieving your goal, still, how do you get there?

Well, to answer that question you need the rest of the formula!

The rest of the formula will help you build a logical pathway from setting clear objectives to meeting your deadlines. It will help you define actionable steps you must take to map out and navigate your road to success.

It’s worked for the world’s most influential moguls, and it can work for you too. You just need to get started.
